Healing as a feral druid and big news!

First off I delayed writing this for lack of inspiration and because I was trying to ding 80. I am here to say that I managed to ding 80. Hurrah! *crickets chrip*

Anyway., I'm back to write this post. It's probably not going to be very long and I might not even finish it. If you are reading this, then I did.
Alright first off I will not be completing my Druid Patch videos. I'm working on a much larger project(s) that require my attention. I will however try getting another video up soon. I also feel that everyone who cares already has read the public test realm patch notes so I feel that it's useless to make more.

On a side note I recently encountered a good friend of mine from my guild that commented on the Nurturing Instinct talent which is in the feral talent tree.

He wanted to know if it was possible to heal with this method. I am here to tell you that, no, it is not. However there are some possibilities in healing while leveling with this talent. First off there is no possible way that you will be able to heal a heroic or raid. You will be able to get better heals if you get aggro on yourself and you want to pop one off, but chances are you will be dead before you even manage to get shift out especially if it's in a 25 man raid or even a 10 man. That is why this spell is crap for endgame. At best it could be used for leveling when you pop out a heal between mobs.

That's all for today folks. Sorry it was so short, just make sure to come back soon for the next update.

Whew, it's been awhile.

My first video that I'm doing for this blog sometimes instead of just posting. Also, sorry for the Lag, I was in Dalaran and it started messing up on me but don't worry, I'll try to fix it next time along with getting a way better quality, but bear with me it was my first time.

Welcome to Druid Density.

As you people read this blog you will discover a wonderful world, not only World of Warcraft, but about Druids and how to use them in the most strategic and fun way possible. It will open up new ways to experience your Druid with not only help on how to spec it, but also in how to immerse yourself into bringing the best out of you and your class.

Since this is the opening post to my blog I won't be covering much; however there are a few things you should know about druids in case you are planning to start one.

For instance Druids are the most versatile class and yet they will always be the best at solo-questing. This is because of several reasons. Let's explain the first reason with our favourite form the Boomkin! This is the easiest of specs to play, as with the Boomkin's insane armour increase not to mention the crazy damage per second (dps). In another post I will dive more fully into Boomkins but as of now we need to move on to our next spec, the Feral Druid.

The Feral Druid dps is the funnest of all specs to play in my opinion, as it is quite easy to get geared and you can do amazing amounts of damage. Tanking is a little bit more difficult though. Blizzard made most of the gear for Feral Druids an imitation of the rogue gear which is pure dps. This is good for the dps specced Druid but when you need to tank, and you want more health or armour you have to try a lot harder to get good gear. Once again, this is another topic I will describe more fully in a later post.

Now on to the last spec which is a Resto Druid. This is a great healer that can heal dungeons and heroics quite well in my opinion as long as they know what they are doing. The catch is when they are healing raids. Unfortunatly it's true. Holy Priests are way bettter at this as they have way more area of effect (aoe) heals. Resto Druids can heal very well for Arenas though, for reasons I will explain on another day.

These are all the specs that a Druid can get and even if you level up as a feral druid or any other spec you can always just switch them at a Druid trainer and open up a whole new world for your class up. I hope you enjoyed this inital post for my blog and I wish you will come back often. This is Nidanar, signing out. : )
